As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

A SAMPLING OF MY NOVEL
I am still writing the novel I thought I had finished last year at this time. After re-reading, having others look at it and giving an opinion, I have decided to revisit it. The book is called, “Until Our Dying … Continue reading

Here it is, January 7th, 2020 – a year I never thought I’d reach, but God had other thoughts. I’ve never seemed to have a problem with writer’s block, but I am an author with “publishing block.” I’ve published one … Continue reading

“By now I thought I’d be sitting by glorious, turquoise waters on some Mediterranean beach, drinking something exotic and have money pouring out of my ears,” said no real author ever. We start with such passion and fervor. As a … Continue reading

MY WRITING JOURNEY
On April 4th of this year I began keeping a journal of my writing progress. That’s a total of 78 days. I’m learning a great deal about the process itself. I’m learning very little about how to actually get a … Continue reading
MY WRITING JOURNEY
I have set my novel on the shelf for the past three weeks. I felt it a good idea to step away from it for a while and return to it with fresh eyes. During that hiatus, I’ve had thoughts … Continue reading
MY WRITING JOURNEY
It has been almost three weeks since I finished my novel. I set it aside before beginning one of my final edits. You may call it procrastination. You might think of it as fear of failure. It could be considered a breaking … Continue reading
MY WRITING JOURNAL
I am learning a lot about myself through this writing process. I’ve discovered that I’m very goal oriented when I put my mind to it. I’m also realizing that some of the things I write are totally off the wall … Continue reading
MY WRITING JOURNEY
With all the fiction in the political scene, it probably would be more lucrative to put your writing skills into that market. I’ve finished my mandatory 60,000+ plus words. I’m adding a few more as I begin the editing process. … Continue reading
MY WRITING JOURNEY
Just a little less than 3000 words to go. Then it’s time to edit. Spell check has been known to be my worst enemy, so I’m praying that each word is the right one. As far as grammar and all … Continue reading
MY WRITING JOURNEY
According to a study, the amount of words we speak each day is about 16,000, depending on age, social structure, etc. I wonder how they determine these statistics. Do people actually monitor the number of words they say like they tally up … Continue reading
IN SEARCH OF MY MUSE
Writing a novel is certainly a lot different than writing a play, a poem or a short story. First of all you need at least 60,000,000 words. So far I have 38,001. I think the last word was “help!” I’m sure … Continue reading
