As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE MANY FACES OF ME . . .
Today is throwback Thursday, so I thought I’d throw a few pictures of Moi, to show you what a ham I am. Obviously, I’m not afraid to get up in front of an audience. That is as long as I’m … Continue reading
LAUGHING IS GOOD FOR US . . .
In looking at my posts over the past few weeks, I realized I was spending a lot of time talking about sadness, depression, worry and anxiety. Maybe that’s because life has changed for us drastically over the past couple years. … Continue reading
REALITY CHECK
Most of us have seen the commercial where a person is walking through life behind a mask- trying to cover the reality of their life – feeling defeated, broken or useless. Of course, there’s a pill for that. The problem … Continue reading
HIDING BEHIND A MASK
I have a collection of masks. They aren’t really the kind you wear, but they look interesting hanging on a wall. Since we moved seven years ago, those masks remain in the box they were packed in. I haven’t found … Continue reading
WHAT FACE WILL YOU WEAR TODAY?
I must admit – I have a face that can be more like a mask than reality. I have a number of different profile pictures on my facebook page. Many look like a normal, ordinary old lady. Some are filled … Continue reading
UGH, GRR, ARGH, @$%#&*
Excuse me while I have another meltdown. I don’t know if the heat is getting to me or the air quality caused by the Canadian fires. I have freed myself from the big news outlets. I tune in for weather … Continue reading
INTERNATIONAL NINJA DAY
I always thought it would be cool to be a Ninja – to have the agility, the elasticity to glide over roof tops, leap stealthily from house to house with the greatest of ease. I suppose it may have to … Continue reading
IS A MANDATE THE SAME AS A LAW?
I’m so confused. Is a mandate the same as a law? When I looked up the differences between the two, I was met with lots of legal gobbledegook – words that added to the confusion. I would never have made … Continue reading
TO MASK OR NOT TO MASK
Leave it to Americans. In times of crisis, in times of violence and hatred, when the world around us seems to have gone off the deep end, we seem to cut to the chase. We have been a rebellious nation … Continue reading
MASKS
Masks can be used to hide our own personality and project an entirely different one. Those are the imaginary masks we use to create a character in acting. Artificial masks can be purchased for just about any occasion. Masks have … Continue reading
THE AGONY OF DE FEET!
I remember it well. I was nearing twenty. The twist was the dance of the day. A new band from across the pond was making its way to the US. I fell somewhere between Elvis and the Beatles and never lowered myself to swooning … Continue reading
WHAT MASK WILL I WEAR TODAY?
Above is a collage of the many faces of me. There are a zillion more, but I didn’t want to bore you. We all have many faces. Sometimes we feel sad, happy, concerned, angry, adventurous or fearful. Emotions have a … Continue reading
COLLAGE
SOME OF THE MANY FACES OF KATHY IN PERFORMANCE OVER THE YEARS. We all have many faces in this world. For me, I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, writer, actress, clown, encourager, and a lots more. We often don’t … Continue reading
