As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Sounds just like “The Emperor’s New Clothes” scam, if you ask me
FAMILY VACATIONS
Most everyone remembers the family vacation movies that appeared several years ago. We had our own version of those memorable road trips ourselves and I’m sure many of you have as well. In the movies, the most outlandish things happened, … Continue reading
WRITERS’ FUNNIES
Some say that parenthesis are not necessary in good writing, but sometimes the stuff on the inside is just as important as all the words around them.
KIDS ON THE BIBLE
I love the way children’s minds work. I find myself having some of these same thoughts when I was a kid – how the words I heard didn’t always mean what I thought they did. Some very interesting interpretations have taken … Continue reading

A sign of the times?
WRITERS’ FUNNYS
I have had a running problem with autocorrect. It amazes me when I read a post of mine after I’ve already sent it. I really need to edit before doing so.
WRITING FUNNIES
Writing is a solitary occupation, even when you belong to a group of writers – when you have a following on your blog – when your words are well received – it is something that doesn’t happen unless it’s just … Continue reading
WRITING FUNNIES
Painfully true, even if it doesn’t come wrapped in a rock. No wonder so many are self-publishing these days.
FEBRUARY HAS GONE TO THE DOGS
Some of you know, I love weird and wacky holidays. Who needs a writing prompt? On February 14th it was Pet Theft Awareness Day. February 20 was Love Your Pet Day – Yesterday, February 22 was Walking the Dog Day and … Continue reading
WRITING FUNNIES
They say some of the best writing comes from personal experience. I guess this would apply.
WRITERS’S FUNNIES
This really isn’t funny, except I often wonder why some novels always seem to start this way? My grandson, now a senior in high school, would often make a contribution to one of my plays in progress and it started with – … Continue reading
WRITER’S FUNNIES
There actually are days like this, when writing causes despair, suffering, anxiety and writer block. It’s days like that when we just have to bring out the rack
