As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

I’M SORRY
There are times when the phrase, “I’m sorry” is just a phrase of empty insincere words. The words mean nothing, because they’re said out of obligation. Being truly contrite means that we know we’ve done something wrong and feel guilt over … Continue reading

THE SYROPHOENICIAN WOMAN
READ MATTHEW 7:25-30 & MARK 15:21-28 Jesus had already proven His power over the devil. He used scripture to resist temptation in the desert. He exorcised many demons during His ministry. The word was out and everyone knew about it. There … Continue reading
TENDER SHEPHERD
READ MATTHEW 18:1-6 Jesus was the oldest child in His family, so He often had to look after His younger siblings. I imagine He looked much like a little shepherd, tending His sheep. He played with them, told them stories, sang songs with … Continue reading
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
READ JOHN 11:5-16 How many times have we Christians had our doubts? Be honest about this question, because humanly, it is impossible to believe what God has laid out as the plan for our salvation. Poor Thomas, the Apostle of … Continue reading
A NOBLE MAN’S SON

I’M ONLY A MOTHER . . .
Several years ago, I played the part of Albert Peterson’s mother in the play “Bye, Bye, Birdie.” It was a dream role for me. I used my Jersey accent and every ounce of mother that was in me to portray … Continue reading
HOORAY, IT’S SATURDAY!
Hooray, it’s Saturday – another week down in the annals if time – another ink blot on the pages of history. It should be a time of gratitude that the week is over, but as most weeks lately, it left … Continue reading
FRIDAY PRAYER
(In response to Julie Cook’s call for prayer and Citizen Tom’s answer.) This has been a week filled with more and more slander, back biting, unethical behavior, the slow but sure death of a country turning further and further away from … Continue reading

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY
That furry little groundhog has predicted an early spring, but I’m not sure he lives in Minnesota. Last year the furry little guy did the same and we had a blizzard in April. I find it amusing that we put … Continue reading
