As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

BITING MY TONGUE … AGAIN
I know I’m going to regret writing this, but there is no doubt where I stand with our current administration and it’s difficult to be quiet when our nation is sliding deeply into the toilet. Our world standing as a … Continue reading
ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER
Why is it, that in a community of believers, there’s still room for the “put down?” Maybe because we’re human. Maybe because the devil is still allowed to roam the earth and tear away at the souls and hearts of … Continue reading
I COULD NEVER DENY MY JESUS!
Who would have thought one of Jesus disciples would betray him? How could those who followed Him and leaned on His every word, run away when things got tough? How could His rock solid Peter deny Him three times … Continue reading
IN CHRIST ALONE
I wonder if we can ever be perfect, just like Jesus was. We say we’re Christians, but still we often stand in judgment of others. I don’t think we’ll ever achieve perfection on this side of eternity. Even though Jesus … Continue reading

DATELINE JULY 18, 64 AD
It was a steamy summer night in the city of Rome. The wind picked up, bringing some relief, but before the night was over a large portion of the city was engulfed in flames. It started in the poorest part … Continue reading
SHOVEL READY
Being shovel ready has a lot of connotations today, but here’s one I’d like you think about. Our job as Christians demands that we dig in to the Word of God for knowledge on how to pray – how to relate … Continue reading
HOW DO WE AVOID THEM?
The world has been evil since the first act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Every generation since has become imbedded with Satan and his minions and become more and more corrupt and degenerated. I don’t like being the gloom … Continue reading
INSPIRE ME
What does it take to be inspired, especially when it comes to your relationship with God? For me, there are no fireworks, no feeling of physically bonding with my Savior, no Road to Damascus moment like Paul experienced. When I … Continue reading
FORGIVEN, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
We often tend to give into the devil’s claim that we should wallow in our guilt. How could God forgive a wretch like me? I’ve not shown Him the honor He deserves – my life is full of imperfections – … Continue reading
NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN
o Solomon spent a lifetime chasing the wind. In all his years of wealth, fulfillment and pleasure, he continued to struggle with the meaning of life. I do too. I often wonder why we go through difficulties. Why do we have … Continue reading
IT’S FRIDAY!
Well the work week is over – that is unless, you work on weekends, are a parent, a caretaker or any other job that means you work all the time. We look forward to the weekends, because we can catch up on things … Continue reading
HOW DID MONDAY WORK OUT FOR YOU?
Yesterday I talked about Mondays being a chance to start fresh. Actually it’s good to set goals, plan ahead, look forward, but most importantly look up. If we try to accomplish even the simplest of tasks alone, we’re setting ourselves up … Continue reading
MYSTERY
Many stories and books have been written with mystery being the genre. Most of the time the mystery is solved by the last page or, if you’re very clever, before the story ends. God’s book, the Bible, includes some mysteries … Continue reading
MY SHEPHERD JESUS
Slowly crossing the sands of time – into a pasture green sublime. I’ll rest my feet and wet my lips, with waters clear and cold that grips. Through danger I will walk with Him. He guards me from each foolish sin. … Continue reading
THE HARVEST
Like any gardener or farmer, I often grow impatient. I want to see results within days of my planting. I soon remember that in this blogging world of ours, there are many seeds being planted each day. The seeds don’t just … Continue reading
ETERNITY
Life is but a span of years – some die young, others live to a hundred. Even a century is nothing in the eyes of God. His timeline is eternal. There is no end with Him. He is the beginning … Continue reading
WHO AM I TO JUDGE?
Sometimes in our effort to help or encourage others, we might come off as judgmental or condescending. I’m guilty of this. I often try to use examples in my life for others who may be experiencing a similar problem. Unfortunately everyone … Continue reading
