As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A WINNER?
I grew up and spent the early years of my adult life in Wisconsin, so I guess I’m a dyed in the wool Packer fan. That is unless the Minnesota Vikings happen to win. I was around when Vince Lombardi … Continue reading
THE END IS NEAR
THE HOUSE WE WILL BE MOVING INTO ON SATURDAY It’s been four years in the coming, but we are finally on the last leg of our move. I have resisted it, not only because of the work I knew would be … Continue reading
MOVING
This past weekend, two of our adult children were on hand to weed through our garage. At every turn there was another box of costumes or wood for sculpting. My son graciously loaded up the back of his pickup with … Continue reading
RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY!
We’ve had our share of rain this past week in Lake Woebegone – or at least in the surrounding areas of Minnesota. As we pray that none of it seeps into our now “sold” house, nor into the one we … Continue reading
THE UGLY SIDE OF LIFE
Every day there is one shocking news story after another. We’re bombarded by tales of inhumanity murder, greed, lust, idolatry, treacherous acts of violence and hatred. Occasionally we’re treated to a “feel good” story, but it seems they’re few and … Continue reading
WHAT A FRIEND
Joseph M. Scriven penned these words 1855, but the still remain pertinent today. I have many friends who are facing difficulties in this world. Many I have never met, some are closer than actual family, and there are those who … Continue reading

LIFE IN CHRIST
I love the imagery of being grafted into Christ. It’s a beautiful picture of how, when we are brought to Jesus by the Holy Spirit, our broken, sinful bodies gain new life through Him. Grafting is a process whereby new life sprouts … Continue reading
