I don’t know – maybe it has something to do with the dog days of summer. Maybe it’s a reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment. It might even be a day dedicated to simply doing nothing and being accountable to no one. Whatever the case, I love this national holiday and I think I’m going to enjoy celebrating it.

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. This is one National holiday that I can get into, but Microsoft wants to push International Lion Day. What does a king of beasts, who runs around in a Pride, need with a day?! Lions do not need their ego boosted, but lazy people!?!? I will cheer tomorrow. As for now, I will take a nap.
