As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE GOOD OLD DAYS
I have to admit, Paul and I go way back. Maybe not this far, but our time together has been filled with ups and downs and wonderful memories like most marriages that occurred in the fifties and sixties. Marriage is … Continue reading
WHAT’S GOING ON IN THEIR LIFE?
Did you ever stop to wonder what might be going on in someone else’s head? They could be a complete stranger, but their actions are speaking volumes. For example, the lady at the deli counter, who apparently doesn’t like her … Continue reading
I AM OFFENDED BY THAT
Being offended seems to be the phrase of the day in our time. We feel we have the right to express offense at anything we don’t agree with. It doesn’t mean we’re correct in our thinking, it has become a … Continue reading
I’M FINE!
Being involved in theatre for most of my life has taught me how to become someone else for a short time – to shed my own persona and live in a different time, place or situation. We all wear masks throughout … Continue reading
I WON’T GROW UP!
“Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.” C. S. Lewis Like Peter Pan, I’ve often thought of myself as the proverbial child. The thought of growing old was never appealing. Doing childish things wasn’t … Continue reading
COWBOY PAUL
This guy wears many hats, as I’ve already written. One of his favorites is anything bearing the Stetson name and he really looks good in it. To me, the cowboy in Paul, is the most attractive. As a boy, he … Continue reading
BEAUTY WITHIN
ART & INSPIRATION FROM PAUL & KATHY BOECHER© What does a plein air artist do when the weather simply won’t allow for outdoor painting? It’s too hot, humid, cloudy and even a little windy. They retreat to the recesses of … Continue reading
KEEP ON TRUCKING
A story begins – we’re introduced to the characters – see their goals and failed attempts at reaching them – get involved in what happens next. With the turn of each page, we see the mistakes they make, root for them to … Continue reading
PRAY
Do you ever wonder if your prayers are being heard or if they even matter? When you think about it, there are over seven billion people in the world. Not all of them pray, but if even half of … Continue reading
PUTTING IT INTO OUR DAILY WALK
The beautiful music still resonates in my mind. The pews will not be as full at least until Christmas, but still the good news of salvation has reached the ears of many. The flowers slowly droop and wilt and are eventually … Continue reading
