Every day of the week is important.  When we think about how long it took God to create the world, the universe, the seas and air and all things within them, it is not only unbelievable, but astonishing.  Our Creator thought of every detail from the beauty of birth to the expanses of land which would provide for that same life.  As we end our week of hard work, problems, health concerns, loss, depression and sometimes hopelessness, let’s take time to talk to Him and thank Him for all the blessings he has bestowed on us as well.  All things – good and bad – have been blessed and used for His purpose, to strengthen and prepare us for coming days.

Dear, God, this has been quite a week.  I’ve had news of friends facing life changing events.  I’ve been concerned about my own health, but I know that everything is in your hands and you hold me with your presence.  I’ve also received news which fills my heart with joy.  No matter if its seriousness or happiness, you are in control of all of it.  I, therefore give thanks to you in all things. Continue to shine your light on us and give us the knowledge that, because of you, we will inherit the perfection of eternal life.  Great is your name, Jehovah.  All my praise, thanksgiving and honor don’t even come close to the power of your majesty.  Bless the rest of my week, the rest of may days and my future with you.  Amen!

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on
