The sun trickles through still slightly skeletal branches, giving way to glistening dew drops and a fantastic diamond like glow.  It rises to full height and dispenses all its light and beauty for all to see. The days are growing shorter, yet the darkness hides the dirt of yesterday.  Each hour is packed with promise of new life. Each minute fills our hearts with hope.

Even as the days grow shorter, clouds hover up above,

The light of His sweet presence lives, and it will never die,

Because the One true source of life, faced death and heard our cry,

The Son defeated Satan’s lure, our future is insured,

He promised us eternity, from sin our hearts are cured.
