ORIGINAL ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©
Today is Friday, November 7th. Like most days, I look forward to each morning. The sky is just beginning to open. The sun slowly kisses the tops of autumn trees and dances through the remaining canopy before it completely falls away. I look at mornings as fresh starts – a second chance – or a do over. The dawn of each day brings hope, balance, refreshment and comfort. I’d call that a true blessing. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for every day you give me. I am blessed beyond measure.
Morning can hold such glorious hope, a wonder to behold,
The birds give voice to each new day, with songs of love untold,
The air is clean, the sky is blue, the sun peeks from below,
The eastern clouds, encased in gold, a gift more than we know,
The dawning of the day gives way, and opens up the sky,
Behold His wondrous majesty, His love will never die.
How many times have you cried yourself to sleep only to wake feeling refreshed and restored. Tears can overtake us, but God promises to wash away all our sadness and give us perfect rest. Joy does come in the morning.
Psalm 30:5 “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

Love this painting! Fall is my favorite time of year and Paul captured why! Love how you always have a poem to go with his painting. You two complement each others talents. Warms my heart how you continue to lift him up by sharing his work with us.

Thank you Sheryl. My goal is to share one piece of art for a year which will end on January 1st, the anniversary of his death.! It is really overwhelming to go through the massive amount of art he produced. I’m proud to share it. I love autumn the best too. Everything comes alive with color and all the senses are aroused.

Happy fall, Kathy! It really is a beautiful time of the year. I’ve been making pumpkin soup, can of coconut milk, can of pumpkin, can of chicken broth. Lots of garlic and olive oil and some pumpkin pie spice. It’s easy, it’s lazy, and it’s so good for you. I just love pumpkin soup! I can’t stand all the other pumpkin spice stuff, but I do like the soup! 🙂
