POWER WITHIN

ORIGINAL ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©

Miles and miles of timber,

Kissed tenderly by the early, morning sun,

The sound of rushing water from a stream nearby,

Smoothed by the caress of the dawn of a new day,

Cascading,

Swirling,

Crashing,

Descending.

We often fall,

We sometimes fail,

We have no wings,

But we can fly,

We have no cage to hold us,

No bondage to deter,

But we can face the crashing falls,

Of each and every day,

We have no power to save ourselves,

But God provides the way,

He guides us to still waters,

Amidst the storms of life,

He holds us back when we rage,

When we can’t contain ourselves,

When no earthly power can,

He directs our paths,

Refining,

Redefining,

Claiming,

Breathing new life into us,

So that our regenerated souls at last,

Lead us to Him.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Ah. for a breath of new life. Without the power within, I would be gone. My energy level has been low of late. Thanks for your encouraging words.

Thank you for your uplifting poem of hope, Kathy. Where would we be without our God ministering to us at every turn, leading us on his straight path? I hate to think . . . / I’m so sorry the doctors can offer you nothing but bandaids for your husband’s health issues. Lord God, I pray you intervene for this faithful couple. Breathe new life into Paul, in the powerful name of Jesus, AMEN!
