A WORLD WITHOUT GOD

Before the earth was, God was there.

He saw the darkness of the universe and all that was in it.

With only His voice, He said, “Let there be light,” and there was.

That utterance began the creation of the world.

The sky, the sea, the deserts the mountains, all shaped by His hand of perfection.

All abounding in His reflective light.

In that light alone – the Light of God Himself – there is hope/

As He spoke the words, the world responded, it came to life.

Has His voice been silenced over these several thousands of years?

Are we becoming a place of darkness again.

When the light is extinguished, there will be no hope,

Only darkness, barreness, despair, chaos and confusion.

Our days are numbered.

I want to live in God’s light.

Turn to Him with me and bathe in the glow of his majesty.

Soak in every droplet of His manifestation.

He is the light of the world and our only hope for peace.

He can bring illumination to the dark places and restore order from chaos.

He is the light of our salvation.

While the earth exists and throughout infinity, God is there.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

  1. I read that what is the definition of Hell—a place devoid of God—His presence, His light—a totally isolated lost place—I don’t ever want to be far from Him!!!

I want to live in the light with you! He is our only light in dark times. I can’t imagine my life without him. I pray others will see the light, too. God bless you both, Kathy. Hugs and peace. ❤️💛🤗

  3. Amen! Many Christians struggle with the encroaching darkness into our world. We find its gloomy outlook around the world. Each of my days start with the welcome presence of God. He is closer than many realize.

I'm a retiree in his seventies. That may not be significant to many, since there is a bunch of us Baby Boomers around. However, in the year 2,000, when I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I expected to be dead in three to five years.
