As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

AMERICA IS BROKEN
I’d decided not to write a politically based post today, but I happened on this one from a year ago today. It struck me that things haven’t changed much in that time, so maybe it’s important for me to add my … Continue reading
A HERO DOESN’T KNOW HE IS ONE
As we celebrate another Veterans Day, we take time to look up to those who have given a portion of their lives to serve their country. We’ll hear inspiring words concerning their unselfish and heroic deeds. Many of them will … Continue reading
WHERE IS THE HOPE?
I’ve gotten over my anger of yesterday, regarding everything that’s going on in our insane world and yet even with all the turmoil there is peace in the midst of it. I know there’s nothing I can personally do to … Continue reading
AMERICA IS BROKEN
Acts of civil violence, leadership that has taken away the voice of the people, city streets full of anger and hatred, an anything goes society, loss of spiritual involvement by the citizens, a people that has lost sight of God, … Continue reading
HEAL OUR LAND – HEAL US!
Over the past weekend, I thought about what it took to establish this great nation. Within its short history, we’ve seen a steady decline in morality, a lack of trust in God and a change in attitudes towards a government that was built through … Continue reading
AMERICA
Samuel Francis Smith wrote the lyrics to “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” in 1831, only 55 years after the Declaration of Independence had been signed. Marian Anderson performed the song at the Lincoln Memorial in 1939. Martin Luther King, Jr. recited the … Continue reading
GIVE ME YOUR TIRED, YOUR POOR
When I visited New York several years ago, there were cows everywhere. I ‘m not referring to herds of them running through the streets. Artists had painted these whimsical creatures to highlight some of the landmarks. My sister and I took photos standing in front of them, (before … Continue reading

DECORATION DAY
They called it Decoration Day so many years ago, We’d dress our bikes with crepe paper to let our neighbors know, Our pride was in the best place yet for all of us to grow, Though times have changed and … Continue reading
CAMELOT
“Unless we change our ways and our direction, our greatness as a nation will soon be a footnote in the history books, a distant memory of an offshore island, lost in the mists of time like Camelot, remembered kindly for … Continue reading
HAS AMERICA CHANGED SINCE 9/11?
We’re coming up on the 13th anniversary of one of the most horrific attacks on America within her borders. To many of us it was a day we will never forget. To some of us – it’s just a sad … Continue reading
