As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE BATTLE IS AT HAND
After kissing my husband good morning, he related that he woke up with the lyrics to “Onward Christian Soldiers,” running through his brain. I asked him if he’d checked the news recently and wondered if we were at war. We … Continue reading

Within the mountain’s early dawn, His majesty is seen, The skies fill up with brilliance, and glorious golden sheen, His breath is seen in morning mist, His voice through eagles’ song, His power displays in sunlit rays, He shines the whole … Continue reading
THE NAMES OF GOD
God is very clear about His name. Not only are we to honor it, but we should never use it in a negative way. In describing Himself through the words of the Bible, He has used words like Alpha and … Continue reading
WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN – ALREADY HAS

PEACEFUL CONTEMPLATION
I had no gift to offer on the morning of His birth, my voice had no great songs to sing, The gifts I could give had no possible worth? My words were not worthy to bring, He gave up His life, He suffered and … Continue reading
BIRTH, LIFE, LIVING, DEATH, REBIRTH, ETERNITY
Growing up is one of the hardest things we’re required to do in this life. I should know. I’m still trying to do it. When we’re small children, we’re dependent on our parents to help us dress, tie our shoes, … Continue reading
NO MORE HIDING
When days become diluted with the busyness of living, It messes with our vision, as if closing all the blinds, Our thoughts become polluted, our lives are unforgiving, Our heads become befuddled, and shadows fill our minds. The light that sweeps the darkness from our confusing state, Cannot by … Continue reading
THE CHOSEN – SEASON TWO EPISODE 4
There are times when actions can speak much louder than words. I watched the 4th episode of “The Chosen” last night and found this to be true. The first several minutes held no dialogue whatsoever, but the story of two … Continue reading
GOD IS MY SUPER HERO
Do we place upon a pedestal the heroes of our time?We sometimes make them idols. Do we think they are divine? When they show that they are human, they quickly tumble down. They lose that place of honor and they no more … Continue reading
WHO IS YOUR SUPER HERO?
Well from the image I’ve chosen this morning, it would seem there are more heroes than there are those in need of them. Add to this photograph – moms & dads, police officers & fire fighters, doctors & nurses and … Continue reading
LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL
The heavy mist of morning fog, can cloud our thinking and our hope, The things that lie before us now, are lost from vision and our scope, We try so hard to fix it all, then realize we are too … Continue reading
PERSPECTIVE
How we look at life will determine our perspective. We can’t always do that on our own. We need God at our side through every aspect of our living. When we walk with Him, we never walk alone. Our lives … Continue reading
