TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL . . .

Wars continue to wage in the Middle East, despite the many lives already spent. Gangs infest the streets of our cities, shattering young lives and enticing vulnerable children into their malicious arms. Immorality festers in each new bit of technology. Our government engages in all sorts of drama and doesn’t accomplish anything while the media thrives on it. Our children are exposed to every available evil known to man before they even have a chance to become children.

It’s like an old spiritual which states, “I wish that I could find a way, but life is just one long grey day.” Let’s admit it, this world is a mess. There is a solution. We have a whole new generation of young minds and bodies, waiting to be heard. They are the future of our country. It starts in the home, from early on. Children need to be taught to love and have compassion for others. They need to learn about courage, faith and God. By providing them with these tools, we’re giving them the future. They will have the perfect partner in live through Jesus, Christ. They will be armed with the necessary armor that defends against the arrows of this world. The power of love is so much greater than the darkness of evil. Teach your children well

God, I know that you have a plan in all of this yuck. It’s really hard to understand it, but I will trust in you to make something good out of it. Give me peace in the knowledge that you have a better place prepared for my future. Help me share that good news with those who still need to know it.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

God, help us all! Mama K–I love your words of wisdom (AND YOU!). I’m substitute teaching part-time; yet, today it was a FULL day, and yesterday, 5 hours. I’ve now been to 7 different schools in two weeks. Yes, our kids need direction. Teach our children well. Amen. I love you and pray for you daily! You’re an inspiration!

Looking at a newborn great grandson, it’s hard to imagine any kind of sin in that little life, but the inherited sin we all have in us, must be washed away and love most definitely needs to be taught. In his short life so far, we are trying to make sure he learns all about it. Paul held Brooks in his arms and told him he loved him at least ten times. I know those tiny ears heard each one.
