GENDER BLENDER

I’m certain to get a reaction from my post today. It is not my intention to judge. I am a sinner, just like everyone else on this planet. Everyone I know, knows I believe in God. I trust everything in His Holy Word, the Bible, to be truth. I grew up in a Christian home, with values and morals that fell into that category. I’ve been aware of all the information being fed to our current society about gender identity and I can’t not express my opinion on the situation. When I was a child – which was a long time ago – gender was identified as Male or Female. There was no “other” choice. When God created the world, He made a man. There was something good about everything He created, but something was lacking. The man needed a companion, a helper, a person who would be close to his heart. So, God removed one of Adam’s ribs and created Eve, a woman who would help, advise, stand beside, work together with, share in his labors and the fruits which resulted.

There has been a surge in gender identity in the last several years. Did you know there are at least 72 known genders in the world today? 72 and counting. What really brought this home to me was a recent survey from our insurance company which addressed this very issue. It listed many of the known genders of today and asked which one we claimed for our own. Male and Female were at the bottom of the list. I became curious to know what each of them were and how they came about. I will not state my exact feelings on the numbers, but I am stunned by the issues that result from them. Most of them stem from sexual orientation, though some of them have nothing to do with sex at all. Words like non-binary, trans gender are more concerned with physical traits and changes to alter them. The survey was kind of an assortment of choices which would make filling out health forms gender appropriate.

I realize this is a touchy subject, but I would be remiss if I didn’t express my opinion. Lately, we’ve been filling out a lot of health forms. I’ve actually been thinking about making copies of each one and bringing them to each appointment, so we don’t have to go through this each time. I also wonder why all this supposed “on file” information within the computer network is, but that’s a whole other post. It also affects our relationships with each other. How do we address each other? It used to be a matter of he or she – now there’s a whole new vocabulary assigned to humanity. The list is endless.

God knew what He was doing when He created male and female. They were meant to complement one another – not to be slaves, underlings, insignificants, but joined together as one, to create more human beings and share life together under God’s perfect plan for humanity. It might be a better idea to return to God’s original design. I wish not to offend anyone with my words. I simply want to express my feelings. We still have that right in our country and I thank God for that too.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon and the truth.” (Gautama Buddha). This gender silliness will not last as there’s absolutely nothing to support it. In the meantime, compassion, prayer and therapy are the best approaches for those struggling with gender disorders.

My prayers are with them. Especially the young impressionable minds that are already confused.

I don’t find your post offensive at all, Kathy. I commend you for sharing God’s truth and wisdom. Sadly, I can only comment at your place. This has hit my family personally; square in our face. VERY close members are hurting. Just this morning that burden was shared again. Lost sleep,…clinging to faith and truth. This “takeover” came suddenly. Just as Jesus will one day appear! Help us all, Jesus! Kathy,…you’ve been on my heart and mind. I do hope you know that I pray for you and Paul DAILY. When I don’t “see” you, you’re in my heart. Lord, help me to love humans around me. To be a light of love and truth for you. Help us all, Jesus. Mama K, I love you! Please give Paul my regards, hugs, and prayers, too. 💛

I’ve been wondering about you this week. When I don’t see you I worry. We mothers are like that. I love you, dear child and put you in Gods hands each time I pray. His will be done!

Amen, Mama. Yesterday, no transfusion needed! Praise God! Now,…if my bones and bowels will cooperate! One win at a time! HIS WILL BE DONE! I’m so glad we’re here together.💛

Paul is doing well considering all the things going on inside of him. We’re taking our little road trips and trying to focus on other things. That helps some, as you know. Unfortunately we always have to return to reality. Tomorrow I’ll continue my journaling of the past week. Hoping it will be of use to others as they travel the same road.

I’m so happy to hear you are getting out a bit…even temporary. It does help to focus on other things. I’ve been house/dog sitting for my cousin. My “body” misses my bed and my routine. But it was GOOD for me to do this. One, to help out. Yay! Through the pain and discomfort…I’m healing, I’m growing, I’m learning. What is life but lessons? I’m trying to earn extra money for my trip with my friends to the Grand Canyon the end of September. Undoubtedly, your journaling will be used to touch my heart and the hearts of many others. You both inspire me, for sure. 💕🙏

It is funny because in the school system I worked in, we did not refer to the kids as kids. We referred to them as boys and girls. That’s the way the parents wanted it. We are having an issue of gender equality at our church…buying books for out children about it. We have put so much attention into it, it is ridiculous. If we are going have Pride month, what about Senior Citizen Month? But our generation was taught to respect and not complain.

  6. God’s truth will ALWAYS be God’s truth no matter what the majority or the world says. I stand with you on the truth. I’m not going to condemn others, I can’t condemn/sentence. I can only tell by fruit if truth exists. To me those who are confused just prove the truth of the Word that states God will turn them over to a reprobate/deviant mind. ONLY the Word of God can heal them and the blindness the god of this world has imposed on them. That’s why I will ALWAYS pray for the lost and not condemn individuals. I can’t love others and condemn them at the same time, so I choose to love. (not enable or condone, but to love without condemnation)

I saw a T-shirt online. It said that God created two genders, male and female. All other genders were created by democrats. I did not buy it, but it was tempting.
