I stand in Your presence my God. Your strength surpasses the skies,

I can’t comprehend an ant such as me could possibly gaze in Your eyes,

I’m created in Your image, yet sin has caused a great distance,

To wheedle its way to my soul, to break my very existence.

When it seems the world is crashing, when the troubles will not subside,

You care for a worm such as me, and with me You’ll always abide,

I don’t understand Your passion, or Your love for this sin filled heart,

Your love is unconditional, You’ve bestowed me with a fresh start.

However can I repay You, for all that You’ve given to me,

You loved me, a lowly sinner, by giving Your Son I’m now free,

The darkness of night will not haunt, the state of the world holds no fear,

In your presence I’m forgiven, in Your arms You hold me near.

If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on

Thanks, Oneta. I have been blessed by God to have Paul as my husband and the one who offers paintings that inspire my words. Together we share our love of God and give Him the glory.
