The glory of the Lord is painted throughout His creation,

Wafting down from the heights of heaven as an eagle,

Upon whose tremendous wingspan touches every cloud,

Carving through granite mountains with the touch of a finger,

Glistening in the silver lined clouds,

Reflecting across still waters,

Racing through the wind to places of majesty,

This is God’s handiwork,

This is His voice,

His Touch,

His view,

His creation,

Only He can make a mountain,

Only He can piece together a valley,

Only He can fill empty spaces with refreshing water,

Only He can create colors of such beauty,

Only He.

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on

Only HE! Amen, Kathy! This may be one of my favorites (I say that a lot because I love your soul-stirring words~how do I choose?). I’ve been so busy with my book and most importantly, my parents, that I’ve not read in a few days. I think and pray for you and Paul daily! You’re always in my heart ❤️. I love you!

Your prayers are so helpful. Paul is doing better. Things are progressing slowly but the are progressing. Thanks again for your kind words. Are you traveling now? Hope your parents are doing well. The world is such a mess right now. It’s good to know that God is with us through every obstacle. Love you, my sweet and busy friend❤️

I’m so happy to hear Paul is progressing! My parents are doing well. I’m not traveling very far. I’m only visiting local schools and places within a day’s drive due to gas prices, health, etc…but working on next book and spending beautiful time with the special needs adults I volunteer with. God is so good! I don’t know what people do without faith. ❤️
