In keeping with an optimistic spirit, I am looking forward to spring, yet I realistically know we have at least two more months of winter up hear in the tundra.

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

    I live in Florida, so this kind of weather is unbeknownst to me haha! Summer is all-year-round for me 😂

    There has been in the northern parts of Florida near Tallahassee, but I live far down in the south. So sadly not for me!

    Ha. I was thinking the same thing the other day. It got to mid 40s and I heard birds singing and it sounded so nice. It’s right around the corner I keep telling myself.

    I was noticing today that the robins have been absent—ususally this time of year, in most years past I can remember, the robins were in abundance now—and yet oddly, today the yard remains vacant—very odd indeed…

    We have no lazy birds in SW PA this year. You know, the ones that were too busy to go south. I suggested a ‘spring’ funny. Thank you for the sign of hope, sort of. I think my wife would not like this one. Right after we moved to PA, she saw a song bird on a limb in the back yard. The bird died and fell from the limb. She suggested that we move. If the birds can’t handle it, how are we going to be able to handle it? We’re still here.

    Actually saw a robin a couple of days ago. We are having warm spell. Still, don’t expect to see them until March. So I was sort of surprised. My guess is that bird will be looking for warmer parts. It not like there are many insects to eat this time of year.
