The image of the cross stands firm, in every Christian’s mind,

The blessings that it gives to us, we nowhere else will find,

Though bloodied by the Son of God, with his own precious life,

Removed the guilt of sin from us, and takes away our strife,

The symbol of death and torture, becomes a badge of love,

From God our most holy Father, in Heaven up above,

He loves us as His own children, He wants us there with Him,

So in His love He sent His Son, salvation for to win,

Though life may seem impossible, though burdens line our path,

We’re sure of God’s forgiveness, and freedom from His wrath,

He paid the price to set us free, though crosses we will bear,

Life doesn’t’ end at death for us, great news for us to share.

I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on
