A trip to the doctor this morning proved my self-diagnosis to be correct. I’m glad I don’t look quite as bad as the guy in the picture, but I’ve been feeling poorly for almost a week.
When we get sick there are an assortment of causes. With stomach issues, I could blame it on something I ate that didn’t agree with me, something that might have been contaminated or I just picked up a germ somewhere along the way.
Maybe the germ is the state of our country in less than two weeks. I have never seen such a bunch of nonsense. The bacteria might have been handed to me as I helped to audition a bunch of kids last week. My grandma always used to say, “you kids were all healthy until you went to school.”
Germs are kind of like people. If you rile them up enough, they can do mean things to you. Thanks in advance for prayers for healing – me and our country.

About atimetoshare.me
As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension.
I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog.
I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ.
My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
Sorry for this my friend, get well!

It seems all I’ve been doing is taking it easy. Maybe I’ll take up knitting or skydiving.

Kathy, Thanks for sharing your poetry and your art with those of us that are following you blog. I read these almost every day, sometimes I cant keep up, but enjoy every one I read. Today’s blog “I’m Sick” reminded me of a song I have sung a couple times with my adult daughter for our church worship. She now lives in Japan where her husband serves in the US Air Force as a physician. The song is called “Since I Am So Sick” recorded by Water Deep from the Enter The Worship Circle album. The Lyrics are as follows:
Since I am so sick Since I am in need Since I have no healing within me
Oh My God, be mindful of me You are my help and my Redeemer Oh,my God, be mindful of me You are my help and my Redeemer
Unto You, oh Lord I lift up my soul In your loving- kindness I believe
Surely those who wait on You Will never be ashamed All of those who call on You Will know the faithfulness of Your name.
Kathy, may the Lord bless your day today. He truly is the the one we put our trust in for both spiritual and physical healing.
Gods peace! Leon Dawkins Fergus Falls Mn

glad to hear a bit of humor in that sickness—and yes, you have, on top of this current bug, another illness—it comes under various names—pcitis, liberalitis, fakenewsitis, lunacyitis, rageitis, ignoranceitis…all sorts of itises running around out there—best remedy…extra prayer 🙂

Blood work came back in the normal range so it’s a bug and nothing serious. Just need to rest for a few days. Something I don’t seem to have a problem with lately. I’m worn out from all this ITIS stuff. Thanks for the get well wishes.
