FEARFULLY, WONDERFULLY MADE

“The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection.”

Michelangelo

When I look in the mirror first thing in the morning, I’m sad to say I don’t always like the reflection, but that’s just my vanity talking. If I look at the inner workings of the human body, mind and spirit, it is amazing to realize how we are so intricately made.

Every little piece of us is dependent on the other for survival too. The beauty of it is that God knew us even before our conception. He formed us before we were ever born.

How can anyone say that an unborn child is not a life? Every life is important and special to the one who created it. Praise God for giving us the air that flows through our lungs, the blood that rushes through our veins, each miniscule cell that helps to keep us going, because God doesn’t make junk and every single life is extraordinary.

Psalm 139 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

  1. I had similar thoughts this morning about how amazing our bodies are! Our God is truly awesome and everything He created wonderful.

  2. as my students would have so aptly said…” I feel ya” as in I totally feel the same—
when the body fails—it is often difficult to feel fearfully and wonderfully made…
Yet He sees, He knows—and He is well pleased as it is what we do—with both the good and especially the bad…that truly makes a difference 🙂
