A world shrouded in darkness, enveloped in an everlasting haze,

Closing in with its heavy cape of weight and anxiety,

Never ceasing to control us,

Holding tightly as we sink further into the bottomless pit,

But even in our darkest hours,

Our times of hopelessness,

Our days of helplessness and fear,

One brilliant light remains,

A light that leads from the depths of despair,

An energy that enfolds and protects,

A force that can capture you from infinite disaster,

It is the face of God,

Leading you back to Him.

My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on
