“Let everything that has life and breath praise the Lord!”
Our worship sometimes take a vacation along with us in the summer. We get so wrapped up in the concept of rest during this time of easy living, that we forget that the day of rest is so much more than that. It gives us an opportunity to thank God – to praise Him – bring our prayers before Him – fellowship with other Christians. There’s even a commandment about the Sabbath day.
God knows what’s in our hearts and our worship is not merely an outward display. We can really worship Him anywhere, but the physical church is a great place to come to Him with others like us, so that we can be encouraged – feel part of a community – lift our voices in prayer and song – and know that we are in His temple.
Where ever life takes us – in our travels – in our walk with Him – in our time of need – when our hearts are heavy or when we’re full of joy – where two or three are gathered, He is there too.
Come, let us worship together – all year round.
