As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

PASSING THE BUCK
I blame you, You blame someone else, They blame another and eventually it comes back to me. Maybe it would save a lot of time and trouble If I took responsibility in the first place. KATHY BOECHER

THE TREE OF LIFE
In the Garden of Eden You planted two trees, with fruit so divine and sweet. One was given for eating, the other not so, but temptation would soon defeat. Man had fallen from grandeur to deepest despair, He needed redemption … Continue reading

MY AGE WON’T GET ME DOWN
As my old body tells me that it’s time to settle down, I wonder of the time that’s left to me. That even though my zest is gone, my eyes and ears are dim, my aches and pains will never … Continue reading
COME, LORD JESUS
It seems we wait forever, for things we want right now, It is our chief endeavor as through each day we plow. Our hearts are disappointed when things don’t go our way, but God’s own Son anointed, made sure our debt to … Continue reading
ANGEL CHOIR
There were thousands, maybe millions, singing praise to God on high. Every voice was clear and perfect, as they gave their royal cry. We too like those holy angels, sing of peace on earth to men, And we wait like … Continue reading
GOOD TIDINGS
Within the manger we can see – good tidings from our God. In meekness and humility – the angels now applaud. Sweet Jesus, God’s own Son – in human form we see. This little child would save the world from all iniquity. KATHY BOECHER

CHRISTMAS PAGEANTRY
You didn’t miss a cue – you considered every part. You set the stage with characters that touched the very heart. You put it all in action. You even wrote the script. You blocked it out and staged it, so … Continue reading
