ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER
November 4 – Blessing – God’s Creation
Paul had an eye for color, contrast, movement natural elements and he attempted to come close to God’s original design through his art. We are still allowed the joy of God’s majesty on a smaller scale, but imagine what creation looked like before sin entered the world. Still God blesses us each day with His glorious workmanship. We see it in nature – in the complexity of each human body – the divine design of the world we live in. I thank God today and every day for the environment we live in, in spite of what we have done to corrupt it. It still reflects His glory.
I don’t know what each day will bring. My future is unknown,
To God’s own Son my praises sing. He’s made my life His own,
He’s taken on my sins. He took them to the cross,
He died for me and rose again so new life won’t be lost,
I have no fear of death. I know life never ends,
His home is mine if I believe. My soul He will attend.
About atimetoshare.me
As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension.
I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog.
I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ.
My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
Oh, gorgeous!

Thanks Tom. I agree that it’s striking. Paul did this one when his eyes were still in good shape. The vivid colors dimmed over time with macular degeneration, but he continued to paint.

I love every single one of these paintings. Please guide me to that story about Paul… I’m new to your blog, but would love to catch up on this.

Paul was my husband for 60 years. He passed away on January 1, 2025. We had an amazing life of ups and downs but he guided me through the downs with his positive attitude and love for the Lord. We were high school sweethearts so pretty much grew up together. He chose a career in advertising. Had his own successful company for about twelve years until the economy caused him to close his doors. From that time on he pursued a career that would focus more on fine art. He was teacher, a naturalist, great husband, father and granddad. He was alive to greet his first great grandson into the world. His faith was so strong and He placed it completely in His heavenly Father’s hands. His art included wood sculpture, painting, plein air and teaching. Most of my post reference him in some way. He was my hero.
