ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©
It is said that with every major health issue. we lose a part of ourselves. Following doctor’s orders and getting a lot of rest is vital to our wellbeing. While going through the process of healing, there are going to be obstacles you didn’t plan on. There will be moments of frustration and impatience. Your prayers become more frequent. You look at the reality of end of life. As life is sapped from our environment, preparing us for another season, we’re bound to get a little depressed. Add to that all the noise that raises around us each day. Remembering all that our Savior, Jesus endured for us is one way to chase away the blues. He’s given us a life insurance policy that will never run out, even when we take our last breath here on earth.
Weary of the noise of media attention,
Exhausted by virtuous and often untrue claims,
Troubled hearts cling to greater intervention,
Longing for refreshment from the flames,
Looking up is what we need for our salvation,
God alone brings peace from all our shames,
Quieting the dissidence and excitation,
Giving love instead of naming names,
Sin no more holds constant consternation,
Though His Son our guilt no longer blames.
I am on the road to recovery from a bout with pneumonia. I know that the prayers being said on my behalf are being heard. I thank Jesus for another day.

Amen🙏🏻 thank you Lord Jesus 🙏🏻🤲🏻👑💜
