Today is International Artist Day, and since I’ve been MIA for the past few days my post has a few extra examples of Paul Boecher’s art. I thank Jesus for another day with an opportunity to share God’s love with you again. Hope to be back to full strength in a few days.
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm and strengthen and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10 ESV
As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension.
I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog.
I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ.
My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
I always keep you in my prayers. I am building strength back myself after a bout of COVID. When I saw the notification that today was international artist day, I thought of you and Paul. Have a blessed recovery, and as people keep telling me, “Take care of yourself.” … as if I knew how.
I’m sorry you had Covid.in my case it was pneumonia and I had to be hospitalized. Home now and hoping to get up and at ‘em soon. Hang in there my friend.
I am doing just that. I even hope to teach Sunday school tomorrow. I will have plenty of cough drops. It does not take much talking to get me started, but according to the CDC, I am no longer contagious. I am glad you went to the hospital. My wife preferred trying to ignore the problem – even when she had pneumonia. I even fought with her to use the nebulizer. Her breathing issues became an annual thing about this time of year.
I have COPD and know all about those breathing issues. My biggest problem is realizing that I’m not 40 anymore. Trying hard to be less physically busy. God has this – as Paul often reminded me.

Life is a patchwork of moments — laughter, solitude, everyday joys, and quiet aches. Through scribbled stories, I explore travels both far and inward, from sunrise over unfamiliar streets to the comfort of home. This is life as I see it, captured in ink and memory. Stick around; let's wander together.
God's amazing grace removes walls and replaces those barriers with Jesus, freedom from sin's consequences, freedom to forgive, and freedom to love unconditionally.
Praying for you 🙏🏻❤️
