LET THE MOUNTAINS CRY OUT . . .

ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©

Another pencil sketch drawn by Paul is filled with the majesty of the mountains and the glorious creation that God has given to us to inhabit. I’m late in posting today because I had the pleasure of babysitting my great grandson. He is on the move now that he’s mastered the art of walking. I must admit I’m pretty tired after of full day chasing and guarding him, but what a joy it is. He is the happiest go lucky child I’ve ever met in my life. As I watched him nap for a little while during this time, I marveled at the blessings God has bestowed on my life. This little man always has a smile on his face and brings so much joy to others. The mountains in this image remind me of Paul and his love of God’s creation. The image of the one year old I held in my arms today also reminds me of Paul. When one life leaves, it is often replaced with another. I wonder what this little boy will become when he grows up. I imagine he will have his share of ups and downs. I do know that he is just what I need right now.

Who has the power to crash through rock with the heat of his breath,

Who can move mountains,

Who can cut a path through rugged terrain,

Carrying streams of pure water,

Which in time will reach the sea,

Who is capable of bringing life to barren areas,

Nourishing it,

Replanting,

Giving new life to the dead earth,

Who can make that water pour forth from the heavens,

From pregnant, heavy clouds,

And return that same water to the atmosphere,

Who can cause life to reproduce,

Who can lay every mountain low,

With the sound of His voice,

Who can lift every valley,

And every rugged path made perfect,

Only God can do that.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
