This watercolor has so much detail, down to the bridges, the pathways, the faraway structures and those nearby. Brilliant colors also appear and blend to create a stunning rendering of a lighthouse. God sees all the details in our lives. He hides in them, ever having His eye focused on each individual on this planet. He is all knowing (omniscient,) all powerful (omnipotent,) and is everywhere at the same time (omnipresent.) This is undeniably a difficult concept for us to understand, but that’s because He is God and we aren’t. Those traits could be considered threatening but look at it this way. He knows you – inside and out. He understands where you’re coming from. He will never leave you. He will protect you from danger, harm and the evil forces that inhabit the earth. He may be watching you but He’s not like Big Brother. He loves you enough to die for you.

Hiding deep within the brush, covered and barely seen,

The troubled heart can never hide from God’s eternal touch,

We walk through life boldly, until our sin overtakes us,

We run away,

We can’t face it,

We tremble in fear because of it,

We come to the point of no return,

But still, we cannot hide,

God’s care for us is beyond our comprehension,

He walks every step with us,

Taking our hand through each day,

Carrying us when the load is unbearable,

Protecting us from the slings and arrows of life,

Do not run away,

Run to Him.
