GRAFTED IN . . .

ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©

A vine will truly flourish if more are grafted in,

The main root still does nourish the weaker ones within,

We all like sweet additions can gain and also give,

When Christ is at the center the stronger we will live,

Attach yourself to Jesus, give him your very life,

He’ll hold you tight and strengthen you through all your earthly strife,

He’ll breathe His life into your heart, He’ll make your body whole,

He’ll lift you up to heaven and free your smitten soul,

He has a place prepared for us where we can cling forever,

And always be a part of Him, our Nurturer and Savior.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Thanks Ken. I am doing pretty good. My attention as turned to my great grandson these days as his mom is going back to finish her last year of college. Thanks for your kind concern.-

Kudos to you both for your artistry! I love the layered effect of the painting, and the encouragement of the poem. You are so right, Kathy. He does indeed hold us tight and strengthen us through all our earthly strife. I can attest to that!

Thanks Nancy. My husband Paul is the subject of my posts this month. He passed away on January 1, 2025, but his art lives on. He was a man of great faith and he helped me to get closer to God.
