WHEN YOU JUST CAN’T . . .

Life can be a series of question marks, indecision, lost hope, trouble, addiction, fear and loss. It can also be covered with love, fond memories, peace, wonder, excitement, joy and anticipation. There are days when we can’t cope – when all of those mixed emotions come together and weigh heavily on our shoulders. At that point, we either become victims and fall apart, or we grow stronger in our dependence on God. We all have days filled with both those issues. It’s OK to let it out – to talk to someone about it – to pray about it – to let it go. Some days, you just CAN’T. That’s OK too, because God is always by your side.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

  1. We are only human, we aren’t Jesus and that’s why we need Him.

  2. It’s funny to me how many believers view the world as the consummate doer. They’re a punching bag or a target for the world to continually take shots at. Then when they read a spiritually impregnated scripture like John 14:17, they miss the action verbs. The first ones highlight what Jesus is equipping us with, and the second ones tell us what to do with that equipment. Jesus never meant for us to simply rollover and take the stuff. The verb “let” is an action verb for us; however, we can’t take action effectively if we haven’t allowed the Spirit of God to rise and blossom within us.

  3. Kathy, your poem pictures moments in life when harmony’s carousel seems in need of a tuneup. The selected Word from John 14 reminds us of who will be in charge of calming the noise around us.
