SON DAY

ART & POETRY BY KATHY BOECHER©

Buttery, soft petals explode across the western plain,

Flowing gently downward or rising up again,

A plethora of seeds it holds, for waiting birds to eat,

They soon will fill the ground once more, when spring once more we greet,

The Son of God once rose for all, He took away our sins,

He conquered death on that bright day, for us the victory wins,

On a quiet Sunday morning, He showed His face once more,

His followers were doubtful yet, they soon knew it was sure,

He showed His wounds and they believed, but still He said to wait,

For the great and Holy Spirit to seal their coming fate,

These men would be prepared to go, and share God’s perfect love,

They’d plant the seeds of victory, a gift from up above,

The seeds spread all across the land, they burrowed in men’s hearts,

Those little seeds bore healthy fruit and this is how it starts.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

How beautiful, Mama K. “Seeds” have been part of many messages I’ve received today. It has inspired something in me—a flower that I doubted would bloom,…I didn’t know it’s “type”. I was beginning to doubt. After house/dog sitting this week I returned home to 3 blooms—one on each flower. I thought of the seeds—they were planted in good soil. They weren’t scattered nor plucked up,..or blown away. SON DAY—the beautiful yellow petals…Jesus, our wonderful Savior. Your words always wrap my soul in love and truth from our Savior. The peace of a Sunday…because HE LIVES! I love you! 💛

Happy Monday, Mama. Thank you. I’m so happy to be here; even if rough nights, some sadness, aches, pains….the sun is shining. My little pup beside me and I know God is with me. I woke up thinking of this post again! May God bless us and keep us all well this week. Much love and hugs. 💕🙏

me. 💚 I was up all night and at ER right now,…but I’m getting the help I need to get pain under control. It’s part of the process and I’m so thankful to God for his healing power! 💕🙏🏻
