EXPECT MIRACLES

MIRA

As we push through life we can see miracles occurring all around us. They might happen at the right time – they’re answered prayers – they encourage us to go on – they give us something to look forward to.  The greatest miracle of all was the promise fulfilled by God Himself as His Son took the sins of everyone to the cross.  He suffered for us.  He died for us.  He rose again to show us that we will also rise from death.  He did this once for all.

Because God is so in love with us, He demonstrated that passion through His forgiveness.  Everything about our Savior is a miracle, from the immaculate conception to His victory dance before the devil as He conquered death, sin and guilt.  As we look forward to our own rebirth into a place covered with God’s love, we can be assured of miracles happening constantlhy.

To realize a miracle, we must first believe they exist.  Faith is the necessary component – just as our faith in Christ, Jesus.  So while we live, whatever hopes and dreams we have, if we pray for God’s will to be done – we know that miracles will happen.  We may have to look for them.  Sometimes they’re clouded by pain, fear or loss, but they’re there.

God is working out a plan for each individual life and He knows what He’s doing.  He loves us with an unconditional love.  He gifts us with salvation.  He walks with us through life.  He raises us to eternity.  The twists and turns we encounter are merely His way of getting us back on track.

Some might ask why He doesn’t answer their prayers  – especially when they have no hope.  They wonder when the testing will be done.  They ask why miracles don’t happen to them.  They wonder why they aren’t included.  They don’t understand why they can’t cut a break.  To those who don’t believe in God’s providence, they may never know that miracles are a part of every day.

This isn’t another fairy tale which tells us to believe that everything will turn out good.  Miracles happen – often when we least expect them.  Look for them – believe in them – expect them and share them.  When we were children our innocent faith allowed God into our hearts.  Let that childlike faith return as you look at miracles as part of God’s plan for your journey.

“What was wonderful about childhood is that anything in it was a wonder. It was not merely a world full of miracles; it was a miraculous world.”
G. K. Chesterton

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
