It begins as cold, hardened, ice,

Glistening in the crevices of mountain glaciers,

Slowly the heat of the sun brings relief,

It melts under the warmth of it,

Becoming free from the pressure of itself,

All the burdens buried in that ice,

Have been released,

Have felt the power of God,

Have transformed into a moving force,

An uncontrollable force by the world’s standards,

Full of direction through the all knowing hand of God,

He guides it over the rocks,

The roadblocks,

The interference of outside factors,

The lure of finding its own way,

The stumbling spots where life falters,

He has a plan mapped out for the final destination,

He takes the brunt of the crushing,

He carries the burden of its force,

He knows that in the end,

There will be peace,

A quiet place,

To reflect,

To respond,

To refresh,

To restore,

To live in total harmony,

With the One who protects.

I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on
