I know I’m going to regret writing this, but there is no doubt where I stand with our current administration and it’s difficult to be quiet when our nation is sliding deeply into the toilet.
Our world standing as a great nation has been trounced upon by Russia. The waters are being tested as to our response. A lone gunman releases shots into a crowd and kills several people and the gun is blamed for the crime – not the shooter. A new age of racism has arisen, but this time it’s reversed. Political correctness is on the table ad nauseam. Our borders remain unchecked. Body parts are being harvested from aborted fetuses. What’s going on? Has the devil been unleashed for his one last chance?
Where have our American values gone? Where are the guts of this once revered nation? Every day we’re shocked and amazed by the decay of morality – the heartlessness and numbness of conscience – the slow decline of Christianity – the reliance and gratification of self. Yes, we’re shocked, but what are we doing about it?
Christians need to wake up and start taking action against the darkness that’s consuming our once great nation. We need to defend her as our forefathers did. We must once again be proud of her and stand strong for our principles and beliefs. There are countless groups marching in protest in this country. It’s time we become a voice for Christ again.

Feel free to vent any time. I do! No point in allowing stress to build and destroy–let it out and remind those who claim to love God, that we all have a job to do and we must be about Our Father’s business, daily!

Thanks and Amen. Sometimes I just have to blow off some steam, but I’m so disturbed by what’s going on in our country lately and it seems so hopeless. I know God is in control, but I still get frustrated.

I couldn´t agree more. The U.S is now taken by a sucker from all it´s foes as well as the so called allies. And this notion that Mr. O has that if U.S doesn´t intervene and always goes to the U.N (which really means United for Notothing) since they never get anything done, and the Iran deal, the Mullas are rolling around in the floor with laughter. Russia now is happy pappy, since they do make deals with Iran and after the sanctions are lifted they will get over a billion dollars to spend not only in terrorism, but influence in the middle east, the A bomb for sure, and more money to spend with Russia, And Russia now also putting it´s foot in the middle east where they can have influence and leverage in partner with Iran to completely change the world stage in their favour. So that deal, if you think that is a good deal for the U.S then you either don´t have much knowledge about it or your head is in the sand. Politacal correctnes….I spoke about that. A joke, I actually think people have to work more, they seem to get bored and come up with stupid idiotic things to name what is the name of something well turn it into some gramatical battle. Pointless, doesn´t do anybody good. And is always the left, I live in Spain and I know how socialism works since in our young democracy the Socialist Party has ruled most of the time. And Obama is a socialist, not because I think, just look at his policies and then check out the policies of the rest of socialist countries and they´re the same. (By the way Spain is broke, so socialism I guarantee you does not work, I can go on forever as to why but this will turn into a thesis paper). Just a couple of points, if I start going off…..phew, you´ll have the longest comment in wordpress history.

What concerns me most is how fractured we are as a people. I’m afraid when we do stand up to fight, we will be fighting each other and then our enemies from without will have their golden opportunity. It’s not just the weakness of our present administration, it’s the people who need strengthening. America needs to turn back to God with repentant hearts…

Amen, sister. Things have turned upside down with respect to anything moral today. Many are numb to evil. We must continue in prayer, since God listens to those who fervently ask for help!

Amen. I have many friends on FB that I unfollowed so I don’t see them in my newsfeed. A lot of “fightin'” words on there these days. LOL
Our nation and all in office needs our prayers – that’s what we have to do – hating does no good……

I know you’re right, but occasionally I have to spit out my opinion. If we remain silent on all the things happening today, we aren’t being conscientious. Prayer is the best ammunition we have, but we must stand firm in our beliefs as well. Thanks for your comment.

I am also hesitant to write about controversial things unless it a bible controversial thing. Its hard to know what to do because on one hand we are admonished to set our minds on things above and not on things of the earth and n the other hand, its very difficult to keep silent (for me anyway) on the transgender issue or some things in the news..

Agreed! We are part of the world, yet we aren’t supposed to be of it. We need more honest, Christian people in places of authority, but I fear our government is too corrupt. Thanks for your input.
