DO OVER DAYS

Mondays are great do over days.  We’ve been refreshed through worship and praise.  We have a new week ahead of us – new challenges to face – dreams to fulfill.  When we begin anew, we have to face the possibility of starting over and over again.  The truth is, no matter how we try to fix things on our own, we simply can’t do it.  We need an advocate – someone who will pave the way for us –  who can make that road easier –  who will be waiting for us at the end of the journey to take us to our perfect home in heaven.

In the meantime, while we are still walking this earth, we can also rely on Jesus to be with us every step of the way.  He’s the perfect traveling companion because He will pick us up when we fall, lead us through dangerous territory, deliver us from things that throw us off course.  He will never leave us in times of trouble, in good times and when we need Him  most.

When He leads the way, we are assured of reaching our heavenly home.  We are not assured of a perfect life here on earth, but we can count on being able to endure even the most difficult situations if we place our trust in the One  gives us hope for a great future.

Revelation 21:4 – And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Thank you, dear Lord, Jesus, for second chances.  I need them every day, because I fall short of your requirements.  Help me put my trust in you to guide me through every second, minute, hour and day of my life.  Amen.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
