I’M CONFUSED – WAIT, MAYBE I’M NOT!

confusion

We have so many things in our lives which cause confusion.  We try to decide which college to attend – who to marry – how many children to have – where to live – what our goals are.  Everything can become a challenge to our mental state at times.

I believe that confusion creates solutions and that most of our problems can be solved in one way or another.  We may never move mountains, but we can re-distribute a pile of dirt.  We might not achieve great monetary success in life, but we have many opportunities to succeed.  The world will never be at complete peace, but we can do something personally to create peace in someone’s mind or bring the comfort of God’s promises to those whose minds are at unrest.

Confusion will spawn imagination – imagination thrives on creativity.  I am a creative person and I’m also married to one.  It usually takes my mind a while to catch up to his entrepreneurial ideas, but I have learned to trust his thinking, even when I don’t get it.

When we become overwhelmed by confusion, we need to turn that befuddlement over to the One who created the earth, the universe and all that’s in it.  He can make sense out of chaos.  He has all the answers.  He will set us on the right course.

Right now it may seem that you are facing complete disorientation.  When the storm is over, you will see God’s hand in it.  You will someday realize that all of this had a purpose for the final outcome.  God knows what He’s doing.

“I’m not confused, I’m just well mixed.”  Robert Frost

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

  2. Sometimes I am confused but The Lord straightens me out. We will never know what we’ve missed unless we have tried.

  3. I completely agree with you! It is so very hard when in the middle of befuddlement to believe that one will see God’s work in the end. I am trying to live one day at a time. It keeps me less confused. I think reaching confusion saturation has helped me to become more simple.
