ORIGINAL ART & INSPIRATION BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©
Imagine what the early explorers of America thought when they reached what now is Yellowstone National Park. What would you think when seeing the paint pots of simmering smoke? Colors that defy the paintbrush. A rustic terrain where buffalo roam and wildflowers grow. Geysers let off steam and threats of volcanic activity exist. It’s not surprising that many of the mountain men that came upon this area compared it to a glimpse of what hell must be like. Yet the beauty of this place extends beyond the smoke and Sulphur. Paul loved this part of the country because of the natural beauty it provides. My thoughts turn to presence of beauty with an undertone of evil. We walk in danger every day, no matter where we are. The devil inhabits all parts of our world. Even those places that lure us in with their outward beauty.
There will be days when you feel completely broken down –
Physically, emotionally, spiritually,
When every ounce of strength has been sapped,
When it seems that you can no longer go on,
When life kicks and punches you,
When there seems no hope for tomorrow,
Where do you turn for restoration?
Where do you go when your will has been crushed?
Where will you find relief?
When you’re lying on your back in complete submission,
The only place to look – is up,
Turn to your Creator,
The God of the universe,
Your Savior, Redeemer and Comforter,
He can mend broken bodies,
He can lift your spirit beyond expectation,
He gives you a renewed life and new strength,
With Him, you will soar higher than the angels.
THANK YOU, JESUS, FOR ANOTHER DAY!
