POETRY BY KATHY BOECHER©
Angel dust fills the morning sky, starts out as ominous,
Clouds go expeditiously by, waking up the consciousness ,
The sun burns through the murkiness, melting darkness into light,
Rays of blue and gold acquiesce, birds take to their morning flight.
Darkness is now nonexistent, brilliant skies have now appeared.
What might have been a stormy morn, by the sun is commandeered,
Waking hues of pink and purple, kissing trees and mountain peaks,
Nourishment for fields and flowers, touches life with all it seeks.
