ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER
Another blanket of fresh, white snow covers the winter wood,
Diamonds glitter across the meadow, the moon shines bright for good,
Icicles cling to skeletal limbs, days begin their ascent,
Still the cold days will hang on tight, temperatures make their descent.
Persistent winter will not let go, we long for warmer days,
Yet in those chilled, white barren forests, two lovers heads will raise,
Singing a haunting, love melody, their voices fill the air,
Their passion will warm and comfort them, as love will linger there.
