As some of you already know, I enjoy these offbeat holidays.  I wonder who thinks them up.  They must be very creative or they simply have too much time on their hands.  Occasionally I come across one that sends my creative juices rumbling.  If you were to change the message on your cell phone or land line today, what would you come up with?  Here are a few from me:

Hi, this is Kathy.  I can’t answer the phone, because I’m getting ready for the Oscar Awards.  I know it doesn’t happen until February 9th, but it will take that long to get made up.

This is the message service of Kathy.  She is unavailable to take your call. In fact she doesn’t take calls anymore.  She’s now working for the CIA.

Kathy doesn’t live here anymore.  Call someone else.

Hey, this is your local Pizza place.  We have an order from you for 75 pepperoni pizzas.  Will you please verify your credit card number?

HEAVY BREATHING.

You want to talk to Kathy?  We haven’t got a clue where she is.  She left two weeks ago and we haven’t seen her since.
