As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

I think Wally ran over the chicken, cooked it, didn’t like it so it took it back to where he found it.

LOL…I feel ambivalent about this one. Although I do love chickens. So much that I have one over for supper at least a couple of times a week. Oh, in line with this, Folks who keep chickens often give table scraps to them. Do that math lol.

When we lived in North Augusta, SC, we had an old-style Kentucky Fired Chicken place near the center of town, between the center of town and the bridge over the Savannah River to the center of Augusta, GA, our usual route going to church. The restaurant had the classic old neon sign, but some of the sign didn’t work. On the way to Augusta at night, the sign read “Ucky Fried I”. For the nearly ten years that we lived there, that is what we called it. Returning from Augusta, it was “Kent Fried k.” That never caught on.

Lived in northern Mississippi and SE Texas to cover central time zone. Only northern locations have been W Richland, WA, SW PA, and Watertown, MA. Nothing in the mountain time zone, although I love that part of the country.

And I envy you. You have people living nearby that you have known for … ever. My only home is the one with Jesus. I am like the blind man who C. S. Lewis talked about. Once he gained his sight, he belonged nowhere. The blind world is behind him, and all who could see had been seeing their entire life. He could not relate. But oh, what stories are stored in that head of mine, who knows what might come out. I hope they are printable.

I’m sure they are printable, Mark and great fodder for your detective stories too. You’re a very creative and talented man and you use your gift to glory God.
