With the end of May, comes the end of school; a short reprieve for teachers and students; time for parents to find things to occupy their kids for the next three months; the beginning of summer fun.
Most teachers will tell you that school should really end in March, because most of what is being taught in April and May is lost on deaf ears. My experience tells me that summer might be the best time for school. You could hold classes on the beach and kids might learn a thing or two. But what do I know?
Today also happens to be May 31st – the last day of a very long month. In April we experienced a blizzard and didn’t really have a spring, because we went right into 90 degree weather. In spite of that, May 31st is also “No Tobacco Day,” “Macaroon Day,” “Web Designers Day,” and “Save Your Hearing Day.” What was that last one? I didn’t hear it.
My advice for this 31st day of May is this: Go into a very quiet room, where you are completely alone and have no distractions. Your ears will thank you for it. Then light up a macaroon, sit back, inhale slowly and begin to design your new website.
HAPPY 31ST OF MAY – BRING ON SUMMER!
