SOME OF THE MANY FACES OF KATHY IN PERFORMANCE OVER THE YEARS.

We all have many faces in this world.  For me, I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, writer, actress, clown, encourager, and a lots more.  We often don’t change physically – like I’ve done in the many roles played during my lifetime, but to be good at your craft, you must learn everything you can about your character- how they live, what the script says about him, how he responds to obstacles and things we naturally go through in life.

Often it’s easier to hide behind a mask when we don’t know how to handle things.  We don a façade which seems to make life a little easier temporarily.  Hiding means that you eventually have to reveal yourself at some point and that isn’t easy for most of us. We feel comfortable or safe within the confines of our disguise.

God is aware of all our secrets – our thoughts, our desires, our dreams, our inspiration, our sins.  His omnipotence can be scary at times.  To think that someone has their eye on you every second of every day is somewhat daunting, but on the other hand, it’s very comforting as well.

God loves everyone.  His creation is of the utmost to Him.  When we stray, He’s there to pick up the pieces.  When we try to do things on our own, He shows us how much we really need Him.  When we try to reason our way through scriptures, life or the turmoil that surrounds us, we become frustrated and hopeless.  When we trust in His power and care for us, it’s really a no-brainer.  His eye is on the smallest of his creation as well as the biggest.

Don’t try to hide.  He will find you.  Not because he’s tracking you down for judgment, but because He loves you and wants you to love Him back.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

  7. I love how you ended this Kathy! It reminded me of a man called Pastor Dave. He always told us that God loves us just because He loves us.
Pastor Dave went to see Jesus in person 1 1/2 years ago and he gets to see that Love in person.
