A Brilliant Summer Day painted 2012 plein air at Elm Creek Park.
ORIGINAL ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©
Composed of more than one wavelength and having or exhibiting many colors,
The definition for polychromatic,
A word that describes the beauty of a conglomeration of color,
A mixture and blending of different shades and hues,
Resulting in a brilliant beauty.
We have focused so much on black and white lately without realizing the beauty that results from these colors is, in fact, a blending of all colors. When we set aside bias and prejudice, there is no difference. We all come from the same God. We were all made in His image – structured by His masterful hand, which cannot make mistakes.
It’s time to take off the blinders of hatred and start over. We have an opportunity to make up for years of resentment, but we will not be able to move forward unless we learn from past mistakes – from our history – from God’s own manual, the Bible.
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for ‘In him we live and move and have our being,’ as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
Acts 17:26-28
