ORIGINAL ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER

Springtime morning,

The scent of cinnamon and sugar,

Permeate a chill in the air,

Cuddling it with its warmth,

Hearty Minnesotans don shorts,

Sunglasses,

Short sleeved shirts,

On a quest,

For the scintillating aroma,

Dare I ingest empty calories?

Maybe one little bite won’t hurt,

It’s Grandma’s Pantry after all,

And Grandma always loved me.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

I’d forgotten that. Your dad on the south side, right?

No… we moved to Minneapolis three years back. My husband works here. I posted pictures of a Lake and you recognized 😀

Oh yes I remember now. When you get to be my age your memory isn’t so good. Do you work outside of what you do at home?

I have always been forgetful myself… that’s okay! I am a stay at home mom😀.

I was too until my kids were in high school, I then developed a drama program and volunteered for thirteen years. Enjoy the time you are able to spend as a stay at home mom – one of the best jobs ever.

It is indeed one of the best jobs ever. Although a little demanding🙃. I love dramatics. I would love to know more about your drama program. I hope to volunteer too when I am less wanted at home😀. Thank you so much for sharing😀

Demanding indeed, but well worth the effort. I have retired from teaching drama now that I’m 74. I miss the children, but glad to be enjoying life too. If you like to perform, there are many community theaters in Minneapolis and surrounding areas. Go for it.

Thank you so much. I had no idea that we could volunteer to perform too. I am happy to be in touch with you. I can learn so much from you. Tc and thanks again😀
