WHAT’S ON THE OTHER SIDE?

ORIGINAL ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER©

We do not know what’s waiting beyond the other side,

With faithful hearts believing, a new life will abide,

Our fears and tears will pass away, like drops of gentle rain,

We will be clothed in bodies new, and will no more feel pain,

God loves us all so very much, He gave up His own Son,

To die and pay the ransom from the sins that we have done,

He washed us clean with His own blood, we now are free at last,

The darkness of that other world will soon be gone and past,

We thank you, dear, Lord, Jesus for this most precious prize,

At heaven’s gate we’ll meet you and look you in the eyes,

Your consolation waits for us, beyond that great expanse,

Where broken bodies are made whole, where we will sing and dance,

We’ll live in life eternal, where trouble is unknown,

Come quickly dear, Lord, Jesus and carry us on home.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Please be careful with the phrase “He washed us clean with His own blood” God never washed us clean with His own blood. We are washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ, the son of God and the son of man, who is the sent one from God, but not God Himself.

I believe in the triune God. I don’t understand it, but I know it’s true brcause God’s Word says it is.

Where does God’s word says such a thing? The Bible is clear in telling mankind there is only One True God of gods, the Host of hosts, Who is an eternal Spirit, can not be seen by man, can not be done anything by man (also not being killed) and Who does not tell lies. Nowhere in His Word is said He exist of three or would be Jesus.

I do not wish to argue with you on this. There are many references to the trinity which I could site but wont because I know I wont be able to convince you otherwise. Instead I pray you will see that the only way we could be saved was through God. He alone is the perfect sacrifice. His love so great that it had to be his doing. Please don’t contact me again on this.

May I indicate that according to the Bible we are saved because God accepted the offering of Jesus, the man who is the Way to God. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice according to scripture.

I’ll contact you not any more on this, but I do hope you shall come to believe the Bible instead of keeping to human doctrines. My prayers and thoughts shall be with you. God bless.

Great poem. And yes we are washed clean by His blood. A quick read of John 1 should put this to rest.
