“There is so much beauty contained in this world.  Imagine what it looks like in heaven – Kathy Boecher

“The only way out is through”. – Robert Frost

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:6-7

There’s no doubt about it.  We live in a crummy world. We can choose to make a difference, to change things, to sit around and fret about it, to hide ourselves from the world or we can rid ourselves of the anxiety that goes along with it, by turning it over to God.

That last suggestion is probably the most difficult for us to handle.  Whether we believe in God or we’ve  not yet met Him, we think that we can push through our alone.  We struggle and painstakingly become deeper engulfed in the huge pity party we create for ourselves.  At that point, we might think we need intercession, but our stubborn human nature keeps us from enjoying the benefits He promises when we trust Him completely.

All the ugliness of this world was not caused by God.  He created a perfect environment – one free SIN.  The moment God’s command was broken, the perfect communion between Him and His creation was destroyed.  The circle of trust was broken. Sin entered and decay took over.  God expected perfection of mankind , but man thought he knew better.  Through those original parents, we have inherited  sin which will live with us until our death.

Our sins were then taken to the cross and paid for by the perfect lamb of God, Jesus.  Our sinful nature remains but Through Him, we are assured of eternal life after death where we will once enjoy perfect communion with our Lord.

In the meantime, we still have an obligation to obey while we’re alive – to trust God’s promises, search His scriptures for His inerrant truth and share that wonderful news with others.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.
